I'm a very dedicated customer.
I am a 27 year old medical student, and a devoted fan of Epic's gum. Here's my story: I am a person with great dental hygiene and had "no reason to believe that I would be at risk of developing cavities". In fact, I had never had one until after I lost dental coverage in my early twenties. I had not seen a dentist in nearly four years when I went in three years ago and found out that I had 14 small lesions in my teeth... most of which had developed where sealants, placed on my molars in my teens, had failed. I was devastated. Instead of drilling, my dentist recommended Epic gum to inhibit the bacteria that create the acidic environment that leaches minerals from your teeth, and prescription toothpaste to speed their remineralization as well. After a year of Epic and special toothpaste, I only had to have five tiny lesions filled. Three years later (now), I have only been using Epic products (no more high fluoride toothpaste) and have no trace of any lesions on my teeth. I also have perfect gum health, and my hygienist always notes my complete lack of tartar and plaque when I go in for cleaning. Professional opinions aside, just having teeth that feel so slick and clean all the time is incredibly satisfying. All of my friends and family who know how I remineralized my cavities have become interested in Epic products and I've recommended them whole-heartedly. My brother brought Epic gum overseas during a military deployment to help protect his dental health.
